Our Quality Policy Embraces Our Quality Improvement
Philosophy
At ACT we strive to provide product quality and customer service
levels unrivaled in the contract manufacturing industry through
root cause analysis, innovative problem solving techniques and results
oriented continuous process improvement. We have established a Quality
Council forum that involves quality engineering, process engineering,
and test engineering to review data, assign actions and document
process improvements. We also have a cost of quality program to
track and reduce the costs of poor quality.
ACT's Continuous Improvement Program
Our Quality Council reviews our program on a defined basis and
the evaluation is fact based management data driven. The data is
reviewed to determine if there is a need for additional resources,
new processes, personnel or equipment. The process is then tracked
to monitor progress. The program manager and dedicated customer
quality engineer collects and analyzes field related failure/complaints.
It is in this manner that ACT's management utilizes quality data
for continuous improvement. We also maintain a comprehensive internal
audit system and schedule audits at defined intervals. Our corrective
action program addresses external suppliers and subcontractors,
customer claims and internal company issues.
